Rev. Andrew Chapdelaine is thrilled to be a part of the community at Christ’s Community Church! A Delaware native, he grew up at the beach in southern Delaware, and graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in foreign languages. Andrew taught French and Spanish at his hometown high school before entering ministry as chaplain resident at ChristianaCare’s hospital campuses in New Castle County, DE. In addition to hospital chaplaincy, he has prior experience in parish and educational ministry settings in Pewee Valley, KY and Hanover, IN. He is an ordained Minister of the Word and Sacrament in the PC(USA).

          Andrew graduated from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity, a Master of Arts in Religion, and a certificate in Christian Education. He currently serves on the President’s Roundtable at LPTS. During his time in Louisville, Andrew cultivated a love of community development, a passion for preaching and teaching the scriptures in today‘s world, and a keen interest in Reformed Theology. Andrew deeply values fellowship, communal stewardship, and discipleship as areas of spiritual fulfillment, with particular care for the last, the lost, and the least.

          When not at church, Andrew is an avid songwriter and home cook, and he enjoys playing the guitar, the piano, and video and board games in his spare time. He and his spouse, Emily, met and married while in seminary. They live in the Cedar Park neighborhood of West Philadelphia.
