My point, is that despite all this brokenness, all the harm caused and done and felt, God takes charge, with the power and love of a parent. Even the most intimate bonds can be broken
but God reestablishes this bond here and now. God is asserted as the father, intending to bring the remnant who has gone astray, or been lost, home.
