God is worthy of praise because God is aware of the needy. The kingship of God over all things, great and small, means that God is an equalizer. God makes all people equal, not in poverty or mediocrity, but in fullness and nobility. This is why we praise the God of the great and small, because all things that God has dominion over are made bright and beautiful in God’s sight.
